The vision

An elegant retreat in the middle of a detailed garden paradise — protected, structured and yet completely open to light, air and life. The vision of this project was to create a harmonious transition between clear architecture and natural diversity. With the free-standing Toscana 400 pergola, a space was created that combines the best of both worlds: minimalistic design and organic surroundings. The free-standing complex in elegant anthracite grey presents itself as the sculptural center of an exceptionally well-kept garden. The shade was deliberately chosen to contrast with the rich shades of green and targeted color accents — such as azaleas, maples and bonsai. The horizontal slats in soft white pick up on the bright colors of the garden furniture and create an exciting play of light on the floor, glass and furniture.

In this implementation, the architecture of the Toscana 400 does not look like a foreign body, but as an organizing element in the garden. The structure specifically frames visual axes, protects intimate zones and consciously leaves space for nature. The glass enhances the feeling of openness without sacrificing comfort. The clear lines of the aluminum profile are in exciting contrast to the softness of the surrounding plants — a deliberate decision that is convincing both stylistically and functionally.

Equipped with integrated sliding glass walls as well as additional fixed glazing and ZIP awnings, the room can be flexibly adapted to any weather situation — without losing transparency or lightness. The fully automatic swivel slats provide targeted control of light and air circulation, supported by an elegant LED lighting system and two integrated radiant heaters for cooler evenings.

The high-quality aluminum construction impresses with precisely mitered eaves and an elegant, modern design. The system consists of two wall-mounted modules with continuous wood-look sliding paneling — a rare and visually very strong use of this combination. ‍
